Circle Park’s Chrysalis Center is a unique, extended-term residential treatment facility for chemically dependent women and their young children. Designed to provide a nurturing therapeutic community, it offers an opportunity for children to continue to live on-site with their mothers during the entire treatment process. This approach offers women the choice of seeking help with less fear of losing their children. Children residing at the center receive professional support and counseling while their mothers gain a new chance at life...a chance to break the cycle of addiction. Chrysalis Center has room for 16 women and 32 children, up to two children per mom, at one time. In one recent six-year period, Chrysalis Center celebrated more than three dozen births. Births of babies who, in the absence of treatment, could be born with drug dependencies themselves.
