The United Way of Florence County will partner with Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education to host the LITERACY ALIVE! Book Drive this Saturday, April 9th!
New or gently used books appropriate for kindergarten through 12th grade can be dropped off at the United Way office at 1621 W. Palmetto Street from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Anyone who donates can have their picture taken with the Cat in the Hat! (Please bring your own camera) We will also be accepting monetary donations in any amount.
All donated books will be distributed to the Florence Area Literacy Council and the Durant Children's Center.
